LolaDub Daniel Radcliffe - “Details” October 2008 Sep 2, 2008 7:54 AM Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is looking sexier than ever on the October 2008 cover of Details Magazine. On his dream role: “I think part of me would love to play a drag queen, just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye makeup.” On his generation: “I don’t pretend to do anything particularly wild. People talk about rebellion and they say, ‘Where is the teenage angst?’ But I say I try to do it simply by the choices I make in the work I do. I just like wrong-footing people. I write poetry and I love it. I like being different from most other people in my generation.” On what he’s going to spend his big bucks on: “The only thing I’m likely to spend on is artwork, ’cause that’s the only thing I’m interested in that costs a lot of money. [The Golf GTI is] a good, small German car that zips around.” The video with complete photo spread will be posted later today. For now, read the full cover feature on Daniel Radcliffe at Details.com. http://justjared.buzznet.com/2008/09/02/daniel-radcliffe-details-magazine-october-2008/
LolaDub Daniel Radcliffe Talks about His Broadway Debut – and His Nude Scene Aug 21, 2008 7:58 AM Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe says taking the stage in Equus "has given me a little more confidence" – and his nude scene is no big deal. "It's only seven minutes at the end of the play," Radcliffe, 19, told the audience at an Aug. 19 talk held by the New York Times. The actor is in New York rehearsing for his Broadway debut in Equus, which begins previews Sept. 5, after starring in the play in London last year. Performing live "was amazing," Radcliffe said. "As long as it goes well, you can't stop smiling." Radcliffe also said he had some brief hesitations about continuing his role as Harry Potter (the sixth movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is due out next summer). "It would have been really hard to see someone else [play Harry Potter]. Especially if he was very good – that would kill me!" Radcliffe discussed his role models (his mother and father, and actors Gary Oldman and Stephen Fry) and and his favorite bands (the Sex Pistols, the Libertines.) He also said that he doesn’t read reviews or look at fan Web sites. "It would be stroking my ego," Radcliffe said. Asked about how he would celebrate the end of the Potter film series, Radcliffe joked, "We’ll go out and all the actors [will] do the [stuff] their insurance haven't covered." http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20220316,00.html
LolaDub Daniel Radcliffe Is Shaping His Butt For A Role Jun 18, 2008 7:54 AM Daniel Radcliffe is gearing up to reprise his role in Equus on Broadway. And he's doing more than just going over his lines. As you may know, Daniel appears nude in one of the scenes. So this time around, he wants to make sure his butt is in tip top shape. So at Sunday's Tony Awards, he made sure to swing by the gift lounge and pick up the corcher Butt Machine - a piece of exercise equipment with a special emphasis on butt shaping. That'll definitely get people to the theater! yum :P http://movies.hollyscoop.com/daniel-radcliffe-/daniel-radcliffe-is-shaping-his-butt-for-a-role_733.aspx
LolaDub Daniel Radcliffe To Play Slain Photojournalist Jan 3, 2008 2:22 PM He's come a long way since Harry Potter, and he's among the ranks of A-list stars like Orlando Bloom, Joaquin Phoenix, and Heath Ledger. They were all turned down for the role of Dan Eldon, a 22-year-old journalist who was stoned to death during Somalia's Civil War in the upcoming biopic, "Journey." Eldon was among a group of photojournalists dispatched by Reuters to the site of an American-led attack at Mogadishu in 1993. While trying to film the aftermath, he and three other journalists were savagely beaten to death by an angry mob. Not exactly wizardry and potions anymore. Eldon's mother had a say in the casting process, and said Radcliffe reminded her so much of her son. Daniel is of course super busy with "Harry Potter" shooting commitments, but Eldon's mother says he's worth the wait, and he's a global soul who hasn't been corrupted by Hollywood. :) source: hollyscoop.com
